In my opinion, this project has the potential to provide valuable insights into the complex interactions between glaciers, climate, and human activities in the region. Finally, the Frontlines of Rapidly Transforming Ecosystems (FORTE) project is a multidisciplinary effort to study how rivers, lagoons, and estuaries across Alaska's North Slope interact with the Arctic Ocean. This project highlights the importance of understanding the complex interactions between different ecosystems and the need for collaborative research to address emerging local needs and decision-making priorities.
